WMSA is dedicated to ongoing efforts in Spectrum and Regulatory affairs that impact our industry long-term. Your engagement in advocacy and raising awareness is essential for our collective success. As a prospective member, your involvement is crucial to our mission of advocating for the preservation and allocation of wireless spectrum for our industry.

Membership Expectations:

 

 

  1. Financial

No Membership Fees: Currently, WMSA does not require monetary investments for membership.

Financial Support: Shure is committed to covering the basic financial responsibilities at this time.  Travel and Attendance: Be prepared for potential travel and in-person attendance of meetings, with those associated costs likely falling to respective members.

 

  1. Foster Collaboration to Engage Policymakers

Platform Creation: Help us build a collaborative platform for key stakeholders, including wireless microphone users, live production service providers, and hardware manufacturers.

Unified Advocacy: Join forces to advocate for the preservation of spectrum. Coordinate our advocacy positions via WMSA. Assist in our efforts to work closely with the FCC, Congress, and other policymakers. Help insure our industry has a seat at the regulatory table.

 

  1. Conduct Public Outreach

Expand Involvement: Encourage public and extended industry participation through outreach.

Event Hosting: Involve yourself in hosting events, or expanding the invitation list for other events, to demonstrate the importance of wireless spectrum and the impact of its potential loss.

Use of name and likeness: Provide name and logo and release form.

WMSA will not engage in any discussions or activities that are inconsistent with federal or state antitrust laws. WMSA will therefore be open to all interested parties and will not engage in any price-fixing, market allocation, boycotting or exclusionary behavior or limit or restrict production, sales or competition in any manner.
